Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of the Zerow-Emission Project. The Zerow-Emission Project will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of the Zerow-Emission Project.

No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.

The Zerow-Emission Project will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation.

The Zerow-Emission Project will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of the Zerow-Emission Project.

Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Zerow-Emission Project.

The Zerow-Emission Project will provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for property received by the charity as a gift. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value shall be ascribed to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a gift received by Zerow-Emission Project.

The Zerow-Emission Project will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, the Zerow-Emission Project will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.

The Zerow-Emission Project will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders' fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to the Zerow-Emission Project.

25 Support-Miles and more (250€ +)

Your Personal Name or Family Name will be printed on the boat (in small size) and travel with Zerow-Emission across the Atlantic.
You will have the chance to win the bike that Zerow-Emission uses during the expedition. The draw will be held upon arrival in Pittsburgh and your donation will ensure that you will be able to participate in this exclusive draw.
Zerow-Emission will dedicate the 25 Support-Miles to you personally during the crossing and (if you want) via the Zerow-Emission’s Social Media Channels. If you do not want this, please let us know through the comment section in this form.
Once the expedition is completed, you will receive a signed picture of the expedition with a personal thank you message from Zerow-Emission for your support.
Zerow-Emission would moreover be delighted to offer you the opportunity to give Julen a personal or motivational message on board that will help him through rough days on the Ocean. This could be anything: a written text, an inspirational quote, lyrics of a song, a motivational quote or anything (reasonable) you want.

50 Support-Miles and more (500€ +)

You will have a double-chance to win the bike that Zerow-Emission uses during the expedition. The draw will be held upon arrival in Pittsburgh and your donation will ensure that you will be able to participate in this exclusive with a double-chance to win.
Zerow-Emission will dedicate the 50 Support-Miles to you personally during the crossing and (if you want) via the Zerow-Emission’s Social Media Channels. If you do not want this, please let us know through the comment section in this form.

Custom Amounts of Support-Miles

The minimum amount of Support-Miles to be purchased is 5 Support-Miles (50€) for private persons and 51 Support-Miles for companies (510€).

While the purchase of fewer than 25 Support-Miles is possible and also highly appreciated, it does not qualify you for above-mentioned benefits such as having your name printed on the boat.
